We provide everything you need to bring your projects from concept to completion. Our members gain full access to a professional-grade workshop designed to support a wide range of creative disciplines.

  • Tool Access: Unlimited use of our high-quality equipment, including woodworking stations, electronics benches, and fabrication tools.

  • Skill Workshops: Classes ranging from beginner basics to advanced techniques in digital design and manual craft.

  • Mentorship: Connection with a community of experienced creators who can help you troubleshoot designs and refine your techniques.

Claim Your Bench Time

We have a range of membership styles to suit your needs. Every week is split into 2 parts:

  • Weekday (Mon-Wed)

  • Weekend (Fri-Sun)

Each part is then split into 3 blocks:

  • Morning (08:00 - 11:00)

  • Afternoon (11:30 - 14:30)

  • Evening (15:00 - 18:00)

Initially your first session will be training you on how to safely use all the machines. After your induction, during whichever session you choose, you gain complete access to the full site during your membership times.

You will be required to complete refresher training regularly to ensure you are safe to use all of the machines on site. If you cancel your membership and then resume, you will be required to recomplete your induction session before regaining access to the site.

Why We Exist

Hi, I’m Nathan, the mind, muscle and determination behind Community Maker Space.

I have always been a creative person, from shaping wood and soldering in my parents garage, to my career as a Design Technology Technician and textiles based hobbies.

I wanted to use my skills to create a inspiring and friendly space for curious minds just like me to learn new skills, make great friends and give back to the community.

So grab a tool, push a button and hear the happy whirr of creation.

From newbies to seasoned makers, everyone finds room, resources, and friendly guidance to unleash delightfully weird ideas.

At Community Maker Space, we believe that everyone has the capacity to create, and that great things happen when people come together to share ideas, skills, and resources.

We exist to lower the barrier to entry for creators of all levels by providing an accessible, collaborative environment where curiosity meets hands-on application.
